RESOLUTION NO, 2001- 123 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, that: <br />1. The property was purchased from the "HUD dollar homes" program <br />so that the County can make it available to a true not-for-profit organization for <br />rehabilitation and resale to a first-time homebuyer, thus the home can then act <br />as a catalyst for neighborhood revitalization. <br />2. Any and all liens for taxes delinquent or current against the <br />following described lands, which were acquired from Mel Martinez, Secretary, <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development, of Washington, D.C. are <br />hereby cancelled pursuant to the authority of section 196.28, F.S. <br />See attached Indenture from Mel Martinez, <br />Secretary, Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development, of Washington, D.C. to Indian River <br />County describing lands, recorded in O.R. Book <br />1392 at Page 1668, Public Records of Indian River <br />County, Florida. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner <br />T gip; , and the motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Adams , and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />DECEMBER 18, 2001 <br />-22' <br />
