Frame <br /> General Services Director <br /> Subject: Fiber Optic Cable Right-O&Way Permit and Interlocal Agreement <br /> BACKGROUND : <br /> The County has an annual reoccurring Permit and Interlocal Agreement with Indian River Farms Water <br /> Control District for fiber optic cable running 1 . 73 miles within the Right-of-Way of the main canal which <br /> allows for connectivity between the Sheriffs complex, the Administration Building and the Courthouse. <br /> The fee is $2,076.00 for the period of one ( 1 ) year from January 1 , 2001 through December 31 , 2001 . 7he <br /> District has sent the County a 2001 agreement for execution. There is no increase in fees. <br /> RECOMMENDATION : <br /> Staff recommends board approval of the agreement as presented and authorize the Chairman to execute <br /> the documents . <br /> ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge , <br /> SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn , the Board <br /> unanimously approved the Permit and Interlocal <br /> Agreement with Indian River Farms Water Control <br /> District and authorized the Chairman to execute <br /> same , as recommended by staff. <br /> AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br /> OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> DECEMBER 199 2000 <br /> BK 1 16 PG 4 9 5 <br /> - 11 - <br />
