U MISCELLANEOUS B UDGET AMENDMENT NO. 004 <br /> The Board reviewed a Memorandum of December 13 , 2000 : <br /> TO : Members of the Board of County Commissioners <br /> DATE : December 13 , 2000 <br /> SUBJECT: MISCELLANEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT 004 <br /> THROUGH : Joseph A. Baird <br /> Assistant County Administrator <br /> FROM : Jason E . Brown <br /> Budget Manager <br /> DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br /> The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following : <br /> 1 . Each year, it is necessary to "rollover ' or move funds forward for various capital <br /> projects for the County. These projects include road construction , parks and <br /> recreation facilities , building additions , etc. The attached entry moves the necessary <br /> funds forward to the current year. <br /> 2 . Whenever a new Constitutional Officer is elected , a transitional audit is encouracled <br /> to ensure that public funds are accounted for properly. Since a new Sheriff and a <br /> new Tax Collector were elected , an audit is needed for both of these offices . The <br /> attached entry appropriates funding in amounts not to exceed $ 10 , 680 and $ 18 ,030 , <br /> respectively .
