E . , Public Works Directo <br /> SUBJECT : RFQ #3031 - East Indian River- County Master Stormwater Management <br /> Plan within the Indian River Farms Water Control District (IRFWCD) <br /> including Associational Recreational/Greenway Improvements <br /> DATE : December 15 , 2000 <br /> DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br /> On October 25 , 2000, Indian River County published a Notice to Professional Civil Engineering <br /> Consultants, requesting Statements of Qualifications for the referenced project. In response, <br /> three firms/teams submitted qualification packages to the County on November 15 , 2000: <br /> 1 . Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. (teamed with Ecotech Consultants, Inc. and <br /> Thomas Lucido & Associates, P .A.) <br /> 2 . Boyle Engineering Corp. (teamed with Mosby & Associates, Inc.) <br /> 3 . Carter Associates, Inc. (teamed with Environmental Consulting & Technology, <br /> Marshall Provost & Associates, and Brad Smith Associates) . <br /> r. EIuFD <br /> A Selection Committee was formed consisting of: DEC 18 2000 <br /> L James W. Davis, P.E. (IRC) CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> 2. W. Keith McCully, P.E., Esq. (IRC) <br /> 3 . David Gunter (Indian River Farms Water Control District) <br /> 4. Troy Rice (St. Johns River Water Management District/Indian River Lagoon <br /> Program) <br /> 5 . Ralph Brown (St. Johns River Water Management District). <br /> The three teams made oral presentations to the Selection Committee on December 15 , 2000 . <br /> Afterwards, the Committee met and discussed each team ' s qualifications and responses to the <br /> Committee members ' questions. Based on the Selection Committee ' s analysis of the submitted <br /> printed material and the oral presentations, the Committee unarnmously ranked the teams : <br /> No . 1 Ranking = Carter Associates, Inc . <br /> No. 2 Ranking = Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. <br /> No. 3 Ranking = Boyle Engineering Corp. <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> The Selection Committee recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br /> Selection Committee' s unanimous ranking of consultants and authorize contract negotiations <br /> with the first ranked firm, for RFQ #3031 - East Indian River County Master Stormwater <br /> Management Plan within the Indian River Farms Water Control District (IRFWCD) including <br /> Associational Recreational/Greenway Improvements : <br /> No . 1 Ranking = Carter Associates, Inc . <br /> No . 2 Ranking = Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. <br /> No. 3 Ranking = Boyle Engineering Corp . <br /> DECEMBER 199 2000 BK 1 16 PG 5 21 <br /> - 37 - <br />
