THE STATE OF FLORIDA <br />To Troy E. Moody, Tax Collector of the County of Indian River: • <br />You are hereby commanded to collect out of the real estate and personal proper- <br />ty, from each of the persons and corporations named in the annexed Intangible Personal Pro- <br />perty assessments Roll, the taxes set down in each roil opposite each name of person, firm or <br />corporation therein described, and in case taxes so imposed are not paid at the time prescribed <br />by law, you are to collect the same by levy and sale of goods and chattels, lands and tene- <br />ments to the person, firm or corporation so taxed; and -all sums collected for the State taxes <br />you are to pay to the State Treasurer at such time as may be required by law; and you are <br />further required to make all collections on or before the first Monday in April; and on or <br />before the first Monday in July you will make a final report to and settlement with the Comp- <br />troller and County Commissioners. <br />Given under my hand and seal this 23rd day of October, in the year A. Fletcher <br />Assessor of Taxes, Indian Ever ounty <br />The Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ended September 30, 1952, was <br />approved by the Board and a copy was transmitted to the State Comptroller at Tallahassee, <br />Florida. <br />Upon motion of Commission Warren, seconded by Commissioner Waddell, and carried, <br />the Board authorized payment of Twenty -Five ($25.00) Dollars to Mr. James T. Vocelle, attorney, <br />for Mr. Kendall with regard to right-of-way on the Lateral B - King's Highway road. <br />Douglas Baker, Clerk was authorized to issue warrants covering salaries and <br />other regularly authorized matters, on the first day of each month, same to be approved at <br />the following meeting of the Board. <br />It was agreed that all members of the Board who could, together with the <br />attorney, Clerk and Deputy Clerk, attend the Mid -Winter Conference meeting of the State Asso- <br />ciation of County Commissioners to be held in St. Petersburg, October 26 and 27th, expenses <br />to be paid by the Board. <br />Upon Motion of Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Watts, and <br />carried, letters of agreement were authorized relating to obtaining right-of-way Deeds for <br />the widening of State Road No. 5 South of the City limits of Vero Beach, as follows: <br />October 14, 1952 <br />Mr. Roswell C. Mower <br />720 Royal Palm Place <br />Vero Beach, Florida <br />Dear Sir: <br />In consideration of your conveying the right of way described in State Road Depart - <br />meet Deed No. 235, Section 8801 (691), State Road No. 5, the Board of County Commissioners <br />agree as follows: <br />1. To pay to you for the grove property being conveyed the total sum of $3,220.00. <br />2.
