Collins II - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: November 19, 2001 <br />SUBJECT: Resolutions Canceling Taxes on Properties Acquired by the City of <br />Sebastian for Future Public Park Use <br />Two Resolutions have been prepared for the purpose of cancelling any <br />delinquent or current taxes which may exist on properties acquired by the City of <br />Sebastian for future public park use. <br />1. Property acquired from Richard G. Giteles, which property is fully <br />described in that Warranty Deed recorded in Official Record Book <br />1435, Page 1732, Public Records of Indian River County, Florida. <br />2. Property acquired from Charles B. Rowley, III, a married adult, <br />which property is fully described in that Warranty Deed recorded in <br />Official Record Book 1437, Page 0646, Public Records of Indian <br />River County, Florida. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the <br />Resolutions to cannel certain taxes upon publicly owned lands, and the Clerk to <br />send a certified copy of same to the Tax Collector so that any delinquent or <br />current taxes can be cancelled. <br />DECEMBER 4, 2001 <br />-28- <br />R 'S81 <br />.3 c <br />
