In meeting the special requirements of the grant each year, we are <br /> required to present a proposed spending plan at a public hearing. <br /> Please allow this letter to serve as a request to set the public hearing date of December 19, 2000, <br /> at the next Board of County Commissioners' Meeting scheduled for December 5, 2000. As <br /> allowed under LLEBG Prow Purpose Area Is Law Enforcement pport for <br /> technology, and other material directly related to basic law enforcement functions. the entire <br /> block grant and match monies will be spent on furthering the Sheriffs Office mobile computing <br /> project.
