He was told that <br />nothing could be done about it even though the homes nearby on 12`h and 16`h Streets are on <br />1/2 acre lots or larger. He understood that 16`h Street residents had fought and won against <br />an RS -3 rezoning, so there is a precedent there. He disliked the idea of this development but <br />would welcome something more compatible with open arms. <br />It was determined that no one else wished to be heard and the Chairman closed the <br />public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY Vice <br />Chairman Stanbridge, the Board by a 4-1 vote (Commissioner <br />Macht opposed) approved the special exception use and <br />conceptual PD plan subject to the conditions set out in the <br />memorandum and including an on-site inspection for the <br />property clearing. <br />9.A.2.
