Community Development Director Bob Keating reviewed the project for the Board <br />with the aid of a PowerPoint presentation. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard <br />regarding this matter. There being none, the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Tippin, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously adopted Ordinance 2002-009 <br />amending the Zoning Ordinance and the <br />accompanying Zoning Map for 1.26 acres located <br />717 feet north of 9`h Street SW (Oslo Road) and <br />approximately half a mile west of 74`h Avenue from <br />A-1, agricultural district (up to 1 unit/5 acres) to IL, <br />light industrial (Knight Enterprises). <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2002- 009 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FOR 1.26 ACRES, <br />LOCATED 717 FEET NORTH OF 9T" STREET SW (OSLO ROAD), AND <br />APPROXIMATELY HALF A MILE WEST OF 74TH AVENUE, FROM A-1, <br />AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (UP TO 1 UNIT/5 ACRES) TO IL LIGHT INDUSTRIAL; <br />AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />MARCH 12, 2002 <br />-36- <br />X75 <br />
