Clerk - Annual Financial Report <br />The Board reviewed a memorandum of March 12, 2002: <br />TO: THE HONORABLE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />DATE: MARCH 12, 2002 <br />SUBJECT: ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT <br />FROM: EDWIN M. FRY, JR., FINANCE DIRECTOR <br />Section 218.32, Florida Statutes, requires that each unit of local government submit a financial report <br />covering its operations during the previous fiscal year. The report must be submitted within 45 days <br />after the completion of the audit report, but no later than 12 months after the end of the fiscal year. <br />The Indian River County Annual Local Government Financial Report for the fiscal year 2000 - 2001 <br />has been prepared and is ready to be submitted to the Department of Banking and Finance in <br />Tallahassee. The report is to be signed by the Chief Financial Officer and the Chairman of the Board <br />of County Commissioners. <br />I respectfully request the Board of County Commissioners authorize the Chairman to sign the <br />County's Annual Local Government Financial Report for the fiscal year 2000 - 2001. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously authorized the <br />Chairman to sign the County's Annual Local Government <br />Financial Report for the fiscal year 2000-2001, as requested in <br />the memorandum. <br />March 19, 2002 <br />COPY OF SIGNED REPORT IS ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />14 <br />
