between I 95 and CR 512 that I 95 has been there 30 years and the section of CR 512 has <br />been there only 3 years. She also felt they needed to understand the difference between <br />wetlands and a sand ridge. <br />Chairman Ginn thought it was a marvelous plan, a very fine presentation that sets a <br />vision for Sebastian. She understood they had spent time to find out what the residents want. <br />When she goes to Stuart once a month for a TCRPC each month she travels Martin Downs <br />Boulevard which is the way CR 512 should look. She is committed to help in this long-range <br />effort and felt this was a wonderful start. She was very happy it has been started and thanked <br />Ms. Camblor for coming to make the presentation. She extolled the TCRPC for their good <br />efforts and charrettes. Their staff is addressing a lot of issues that are new and she was <br />grateful for the fine work. <br />Mr Moore asked for questions. There were none. He asked if it would be <br />appropriate to request a motion, and Commissioner Adams thought it would not be but <br />suggested he sit with staff to determine if there is MPO enhancement money available for <br />when the additional 4-laning occurs. <br />Mr Moore thanked the Commissioners for the opportunity to address them. <br />9.B.3. LESHE, CITY <br />COUNCILMAN OF INDIAN RIVER SHORES REGARDING LOST <br />TREE ISLANDS <br />Robert Leshe advised that he was appearing as an individual and his intent was not <br />to criticize but to point things out which have caused him a lot of concern as a member of <br />the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee. His major concern is the ranking of the islands <br />He listed the votes from the most recent ranking and the islands were number 10 on the list <br />to be purchased. The two #1 ranking votes were from the Town of Indian River Shores and <br />probably the City of Vero Beach because the two municipalities pay the consequences; there <br />March 6, 2001 - <br />86 <br />BOK I 17 PG 3 4 5 <br />
