O 0 <br />Commissioner Davis and Chairman Wheeler engaged in a brief discussion about <br />lot sizes and whether they should consider having maximum lot sizes. <br />The Chairman opened the Public Hearing. <br />Bob Johnson, Coral Wind Subdivision, asked if this would be an exception for <br />this developer or was it a change for every developer and builder under the Comprehensive Plan. <br />Director Keating said it would apply to anyone outside the urban service area. <br />Mr. Johnson's commented on .things that came up with a previous development <br />for a golf course in the South County Initiative that never materialized, which stated that when it <br />is a PD the golf course not be considered as part of the open space. He asked if it would then be <br />considered separately as an entity thus eliminating the need for condos and apartments in a high- <br />density area. <br />Chairman Wheeler informed him that they were looking at an Agricultural PD and <br />did not think it applies under these conditions because of the landmass we would be dealing with <br />and this does not change the density. <br />There were no other speakers and the Chairman closed the Public <br />Hearing. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner O'Bryan, by a 4-0 vote (Vice Chair <br />Bowden absent) the Board adopted Ordinance 2007-011 <br />amending the Comprehensive Plan's future land use <br />element Policy 5.8 relating to Agricultural Planned <br />Development; and providing codification, severability, <br />March 6, 2007 27 <br />BK 1 2PG 62 <br />
