0 0 <br />±1,824.33 acres from C-1 to AG -2, and to rezone those <br />±1,824.33 acres from CON -1 to A-2. <br />The Chairman called a break 3:10 p.m. and reconvened the meeting at 3:23 p.m. <br />with Commissioner Davis absent. <br />9.A.5 GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH'S REQUEST FOR SPECIAL <br />EXCEPTION USE APPROVAL FOR A CHILD CARE/PRE- <br />SCHOOL FACILITY (QUASI-JUDICIAL) <br />Stan Boling, Planning Director presented this item pointing out, via a vicinity <br />map, the area under consideration, which is a little over 3 -acres located on the south side of 12th <br />Street and the east side of 41St Avenue, with an RS -6 zoning. The purpose of the request is to <br />allow a pre-school childcare use in the existing Church facility for up to fifty (50) students <br />enrolled in the program. There are specific land use criteria that are met as outlined in staff's <br />recommendation (memorandum dated February 26, 2007). Staff and Planning and Zoning <br />Commission recommended approval with conditions as outlined at pages 313-314 of the backup. <br />Commissioner O'Bryan inquired if there were any concerns from parents. <br />Director Boling had not recently had any but initially there were concerns about access to the <br />entrance and that has since been remedied. <br />The Chairman opened the Public Hearing. <br />Former Commissioner John Tippin supported the request. <br />March 6, 2007 35 <br />Bl( 132 PG 370 <br />• <br />
