<br />RESOLUTION: - REGULATING HOURS FOR SAVE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.
<br />Commissioner Waddell introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption,
<br />as follows, to wit:
<br />R E S O L U T I O N
<br />BE IT
<br />RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian
<br />River County,
<br />Florida, that said Board
<br />does herewith independently regulate the hours of sale of alcoholic
<br />beverages,within the
<br />territory of Indian River County, Florida, not included
<br />within any muni-
<br />cipality, as follows,
<br />to -wit:
<br />1. No
<br />alcoholic beverages, that is, all beverages containing
<br />more than One per
<br />cent (1%) of alcohol
<br />by.weight, may be sold, consumed or served or permitted
<br />to be served or
<br />consumed in any place
<br />holding a license under the State Beverage Department of Florida between
<br />the hours of 1:00 o'clock A.M. and 7:00 o'clock A.M. of each week day; provided, however, that •
<br />no such alcoholic beverages may be sold, consumed or served or permitted to be served or con-
<br />sumed in any place holding a license under the State Beverage Department of Florida between
<br />the hours of 12:00 o'clock Midnight Sunday and 7:00 o'clock A.M. of the Monday following.
<br />2. No alcoholic beverages, that is, all beverages containing more than One
<br />per cent (1%) of alcohol by weight, may be sold, consumed or served or permitted to be served
<br />or consumed in any place holding a license under the State Average Department of Florida
<br />between the hours of 1:00 o'clock A.M. and 5:00 o'clock P.M. on Sunday during the months of
<br />January, February, March and April of each year.
<br />3. No alcoholic beverages, that is, all beverages containing more than One
<br />per cent (1�o) of alcohol by weight, may be sold, consumed or served or permitted to be served
<br />or consumed in any place holding a license under the State Beverage Department of Florida
<br />Vetween the hours of 1:00 o'clock A. M. on Sunday and 7:00 o'clock A.M. on the Monday follow-
<br />ing during the months of May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December of
<br />each year.
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall become effective December S.
<br />1952, at 12:01 o'clock A.M.
<br />The foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Marren and unani-
<br />mously adopted. 0

<br />Notary Public Bonds for S. R. Hubbard and J. R. Furlong each in the sum of
<br />$500.00 with the Home Indemnity Company as surety were approved by Douglas Baker, Clerk Circuit
<br />Court, November 22, 1952, as provided by law.
<br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were
<br />examined and found correct, were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same. Such
<br />bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the warrants
<br />so issued from the respective funds being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book, as provided
<br />by the rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being
<br />made a part of these minutes.
<br />The Gouty Depository filed its monthly statement, showing receipts and dis-
<br />bursements of the various funds, which having been audited", were found to be correct. •
<br />There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and carried, the
<br />Board then adjourned.
