<br /> Under discussion . Commissioner Macht inquired about the Sunshine Law inclusion .
<br /> and Emergency Management Coordinator Nathan McCollum (Formerly Acting Director of
<br /> Department of Emergency Services ) responded that a meeting dealing with billing issues
<br /> would come under the Sunshine Law , so they are complying with that as well as the Public
<br /> Records Law .
<br /> County Attorney Bangel added that toward the end of the negotiations some
<br /> references to the Government in the Sunshine Law were removed . There was one that
<br /> remained in the event any of the aspects of the contract are discussed by the Board . There
<br /> is more of a concern for the Public Records Law ,
<br /> Commissioner Macht thought the everybody in the county ought to be put under the
<br /> Sunshine Law .
<br /> THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE QUESTION and the motion
<br /> carried unanimously . (Approved 1 ) the services agreement
<br /> between Per- Se Technologies , Inc . for EMS ambulance billing
<br /> services and 2 ) the Indian River County fee schedule to be the
<br /> maximum allowed by Medicare according to Federal guidelines
<br /> as noted in above memorandum . )
