ANALYSIS: <br />The County operates and maintains a publicly owned Residuals Management Facility (Dewatering <br />Facility), at the Central Regional WWlr, Flonda Permit # FLA -010434 001, which is capable of <br />accepting domestic wastewater residuals from outside sources. The facility has been given approval and <br />is operating under the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) permit, in compliance <br />with Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 62-640, to properly treat and dispose of domestic wastewater. <br />The Customer shall provide all transportation of residuals, and will be charged the prevailing rates as <br />shown on the Schedule of Water and Sewer Rates, Fees, and Charges, and attached to the Agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County Commissioners <br />approve the attached Domestic Wastewater Residual Agreement as presented, and authorize the Chairman <br />to execute the same. <br />Commissioner Ginn noted that the. Utilities Advisory Committee is meeting on <br />Thursday of this week and she would like to see this item remanded to thein for their <br />recommendation. <br />APRIL 2, 2002 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously remanded the item to the Utilities <br />Advisory Committee for their recommendation to <br />the Board. <br />-38- <br />71 <br />
