f. Screening and Placement. <br />Attached <br />wireless <br />communications <br />facilities shall <br />be <br />screened <br />by a parapet or other <br />device <br />so as to <br />minimize <br />its <br />visual <br />impact <br />as measured <br />from <br />the <br />boundary <br />line of <br />the <br />subject property Attached <br />facilities <br />shall <br />be <br />placed <br />in <br />the <br />center of <br />the <br />building where <br />reasonably <br />possible <br />so as to further <br />minimize visual <br />impact: <br />and <br />2. An attached wireless communications facility shall be <br />attached only to a commercial/industrial, industrial, <br />hotel, multifamily, institutional, or public building or <br />facility. <br />(2) Submittal requirements for attached wireless communications facility <br />applications: <br />a. For a proposed attached wireless communication facility <br />application to be considered complete, it shall contain <br />submittal materials a through f., h. and n. (1) through (4) as <br />indicated in Section 5(a)(2). <br />(e) Stealth Wireless Communications Facilities. <br />(1) Approval criteria for stealth wireless communications facilities: <br />a. Setbacks. <br />1. Stealth facilities shall meet the minimum setback <br />requ'rements for the zoning district where they are <br />located for the type of structure used or simulated. <br />Stealth wireless communications facilities shall not exceed <br />one hundred fifty (150) feet in overall height The county <br />may limit the height of a proposed stealth facility to ensure <br />that the facility is not readily identifiable as a wireless <br />facility, blends into its surroundings, and has the <br />appearance of an allowable and customary structure on site <br />(e.g. church steeple, flagpole w. th flag, light standard tree). <br />c. Construction. <br />No stealth wireless communications facility shall be guyed <br />or have lattice type construction. <br />d. Accessory Use. <br />A stealth facility shall be an accessory use as defined by <br />section 901.03 in the Land Development Regulations. <br />e. Structural Integrity. <br />The stealth facility shall be designed to meet all building <br />code requirements (including windloading). <br />APRIL 2, 2002 <br />
