• <br />Commissioner Kenneth R. Macht, (as may be applicable), and County <br />Administrator James E. Chandler County Attorney Paul G. Bangel, and <br />outside counsel Paul L. Westcott will attend the attorney-client session, and <br />that the entire session will be recorded by certified court reporter Nancy <br />Hodges or another certified court reporter, who will be present. <br />The attorney-client session convenes in Conference Room "B". <br />4. Westcott, Esquire <br />County Attorney Paul Bangel made the following announcement: <br />Madame Chairman, Commissioners, I advise the Board of County <br />Commissioners, as your county attorney, that I desire advice in a private Pending <br />Litigation Attorney -Client Session concerning pending litigation in the case of Debra <br />K. Mercuri, State of Florida Division of Administrative Hearings, Office of the Judge <br />of Compensation Claims, District "I -North", Indian River County, OJCC No. 98- <br />006898PSL, to which Indian River County is presently a party <br />Chairman Stanbridge made the following announcement: <br />The Board of County Commissioners hereby commences a Pending Litigation <br />Attorney -Client Session to discuss Debra K. Mercuri; OJCC No.98-006898PSL, to <br />which Indian River County is presently a party, and which is now pending before the <br />State of Florida Division of Administrative Hearings, Office of the Judge of <br />Compensation Claims, District "I -North", Indian River County. The meeting will <br />continue in private session in Conference Room "B", 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach <br />Florida, to discuss settlement negotiations or strategy sessions related to litigation <br />expenditures, pursuant to Section 286.011, subsection 8, Florida Statutes. It is <br />estimated that the attorney client session will last thirty minutes. The persons <br />attending the attorney-client session of the Board of County Commissioners are <br />Chairman Ruth M. Stanbridge, Vice Chairman John W. Tippm, Commissioner Fran <br />B Adams Commissioner Caroline D. Ginn, Commissioner Kenneth R. Macht, <br />County Administrator James E. Chandler, County Attorney Paul G. Bangel, and <br />outside counsel Paul L. Westcott. The entire session will be recorded by certified <br />court reporter Suzanne Beuttell, who will also be present.
