FROM: <br />Joseph <br />A. <br />Baird, Assistant County Administrato* <br />DATE: <br />March <br />21, <br />2001 <br />SUBJECT: Reschedule Brisben Companies (Palms of Vero Beach) TEFRA <br />Hearing to April 10, 2001 <br />At the meeting of March 6, 2001, the Board of County Commissioners approved holding the <br />TEFRA hearing on April 3, 2001 for Brisben Companies (The Palms at Vero) to issue <br />$1,500,000 in Industrial Revenue Bonds. The legal advertising requirements for a TEFRA <br />hearing were not met, therefore we will have to hold the TEFRA hearing on April 10 rather than <br />April 3, 2001. <br />Staff requests permission to hold the TEFRA hearing on April 10, 2001. <br />Assistant Administrator Baird advised that he had spoken with the developer in this <br />matter concerning the rescheduling and they will be here on April 10`h <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED By <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously rescheduled the <br />TEFRA public hearing for April 10, 2001, <br />9.B.1.
