would take. <br />Commissioner Macht suggested the Commissioners look at all the ramifications <br />before proceeding. <br />Other Commissioners agreed and Vice Chairman Stanbridge stressed the importance <br />especially since there are 6 others. <br />Director Boling addressed several questions. <br />Mr. Timinsky pointed out his stand is not so temporary. It is built on the slab of a <br />former house with a vegetable stand that had power over 40 years ago. <br />Director Boling advised that Bobby's stand has a similar situation <br />There has already <br />been code enforcement action on two of the stands for hooking up to power, <br />several of the stands are in very close proximity to electrical hookups. <br />He believed <br />Commissioner Adams asked if the Commissioners would be averse to trying to work <br />something out where it would be limited to the commercial area and refrigeration. She <br />thought it was a public health issue and that it would not create an unfair advantage. <br />Chairman Ginn suggested the Board refer it to staff. <br />Commissioner Macht suggested that it be done with dispatch so that, if relief can be <br />had, it could be granted swiftly. <br />There was CONSENSUS to refer this to staff and ask them to bring it back in a couple <br />of weeks. <br />Director Keating advised that an LDR change would need to go to the Professional <br />Services Advisory Committee, Planning and Zoning Commission, advertising and public <br />hearings. It would take between 60 and 90 days. <br />Commissioner Macht asked for an inventory of the other stands and their locations. <br />Director Boling advised that in the meantime, staff would enforce what is on the <br />permits, to have no electrical hookup, but they will run an LDR change through the process <br />based on this discussion. <br />April 3, 2001 <br />55 // 743 <br />
