ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY Vice <br />Chairman Stanbridge, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution No. 2001-038 setting a time and place at which the <br />owners of properties located on the west side of US Highway <br />One between the Wal-Mart Supercenter and County Road 512 <br />in the city of Sebastian, Florida, and other interested persons, <br />may appear before the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County and be heard as to the propriety and <br />advisability of constructing the water main extension, as to the <br />cost thereof, as to the manner of payment therefor, and as to the <br />amount thereof to be specially assessed against each property <br />benefitted thereby. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001- nig <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SETTING A TIME AND PLACE AT <br />WHICH THE OWNERS OF PROPERTIES LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE <br />OF U.S. HIGHWAY ONE BETWEEN THE WAL-MART SUPERCENTER AND <br />COUNTY ROAD 512 IN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, AND OTHER <br />INTERESTED PERSONS, MAY APPEAR BEFORE THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND BE HEARD <br />AS TO THE PROPRIETY AND ADVISABILITY OF CONSTRUCTING THE <br />WATER MAIN EXTENSION, AS TO THE COST THEREOF, AS TO THE <br />MANNER OF PAYMENT THEREFOR, AND AS TO THE AMOUNT <br />THEREOF TO BE SPECIALLY ASSESSED AGAINST EACH PROPERTY <br />BENEFITED THEREBY. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has, by <br />Resolution No. 2001- 037 , determined that it is necessary for the public welfare of the citizens <br />of the county, and particularly as to those living, working, and owning property within the area <br />described hereafter, that a waterline be installed to serve 97 properties located on the west side <br />of U.S. Highway One between the Wal-Mart Supercenter and County Road 512 in the City of <br />Sebastian, Florida; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the cost to be specially assessed with respect <br />thereto shall be $0.352168 (rounded) per square foot; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has caused an assessment roll to be <br />completed and filed with the Clerk to the Board; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 206.06 of the Code of Indian River provides that the Board of <br />County Commissioners shall fix a time and place at which the owners of the properties to be <br />assessed or any other persons interested therein may appear before the Board of County <br />April 3, 2001 <br />89 <br />�17PG777 <br />
