The Work completed under the WOodmere Trade Center Project include the original scope-of-work <br /> outlined in the Woodmere Trade Center Developer' s Agreement PLUS the additional utility <br /> the Jerry Smith Warehouse Developer's Agreement work outlined in <br /> The amount of funds expended between both projects remain under budget and all work required by each <br /> Agreement has been satisfied. <br /> The total allowable compensation per the Jerry Smith and the Woodmere Trade Center Developer' s <br /> Agreements and the Developer ' s share per line extension fees was $77,243 . 88 (see attached developer' s <br /> agreement). The total final required compensation is $72, 844. 98 , a saving to the County of $4,398.90. <br /> We are now prepared to release frnal payment to the developer. <br /> RECONVIMNDATION <br /> The staff of the Department of Utility services recommends that the Board of County Commissioners <br /> authorize final payment to Woodmere Trade Center in the amounts tabulated below. <br /> Ori Contras Amounts Final Construction Costs <br /> Cour $71 ,569.68 <br /> Develo $67, 170.78 <br /> TOTAL AVAILABLE FUNDS $5.674.20 $5,674.20 <br /> $779243 .88 $72,844.98 <br /> Final Project Costs $721844.98 <br /> Less previously paid $64,237. 18 <br /> TOTAL DUE $8.607. 80 (includes developer's contribution) <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County Commissioners <br /> release final payment of $8,607. 80 for the Work completed by the Woodmere Trade Center Developer 's <br /> Agreement. Note that this final payment includes release of the retainage. <br /> Commissioner Adams questioned the reason for the delay in this project, and <br /> Environmental Engineer Aaron Bowles noted that 2 projects had been combined which <br /> created some confusion . The Department will attempt to avoid this process in the future . <br /> ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams , <br /> SECONDED by Commissioner Stanbridge , the <br /> Board unanimously approved release of final <br /> payment of $ 8 , 607 . 80 , including release of <br /> retainage , for the work completed by the Woodmere <br /> Trade Center Developer ' s Agreement , as <br /> recommended by staff. <br /> MAY 1 , 2001 <br /> -44 - <br />
