Additional backup for Item 11.I. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously made the above changes to the <br />Agenda. <br />5. PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS <br />PROCLAMATION DESIGNATING THE MONTH OF MAY, 2002 AS MENTAL <br />HEALTH MONTH <br />The Chairman presented the following Proclamation to Margi Silberman of New <br />Horizons of the Treasure Coast and to Kristine Sarkauskas, President and Chief Executive <br />Officer of the Mental Health Association, who both expressed their thanks for the <br />recognition: <br />PROCLAMATION <br />DESIGNATING THE MONTH OF MAY, 2002, AS <br />MENTAL HEALTH MONTH <br />WHEREAS, mental health problems do not discriminate; they know no race, creed, age limit <br />or economic status; and <br />WHEREAS, one in five American adults and children are affected by a mental illness, however <br />people with mental illness can recover and lead full productive lives; and <br />MAY 21, 2002 <br />-2- <br />OK r i"0 ) 3 <br />
