Keating, AICP; CP; Cmm unity velopment Director <br />THROUGH• Sasan Rohani, AICP; Chief, Long -Range Planning '4 <br />FROM: Randy Deshazo; Planner, Long -Range Planningi39 <br />DATE: May 13, 2002 <br />RE• Adamson request to rezone ±13.94 acres from A-1 to R.M-6 <br />(RZON 2002-03-0099) <br />It is requested that the following information be given formal consideration by the Board of County <br />Commissioners at its regular meeting of May 21, 2002. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />This is a request to rezone 13.94 acres from A-1, Agricultural District (up to 1 unit/5 acres), to RM - <br />6, Multiple -Family Residential District (up to 6 units/acre). Located on 26th Street, the subject <br />property is approximately 400 feet west of 66th Avenue. The purpose of this request is to secure the <br />zoning necessary to develop the site at a density consistent with its L-2 comprehensive plan land use <br />designation. <br />On April 25, 2002, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 6 to 0 to recommend that the Board <br />of County Commissioners approve the request to rezone the subject property. <br />MAY 21, 2002 <br />-27- <br />D ter <br />U % <br />1 <br />• <br />
