<br /> ANALYSIS :
<br /> The staffs of the Department of Utility Services and the Purchasing Department have proceeded with the
<br /> formal RFP process for membrane replacement, with the bid opening scheduled for June 14 , 3001 . The
<br /> staff of the Department of Utility Services has requested from CDM a Work Authorization to provide
<br /> technical assistance , including but not limited to , evaluation of bids , shop drawing review ,
<br /> and
<br /> construction observation for the membrane and piping replacement project. These professional services
<br /> will be requested and paid for on an ' as -needed ' basis , based on hours approved by staff ( see attached
<br /> t
<br /> Work Authorization No . 17 ) .
<br /> RECOMMENDATION •
<br /> The Staff of the Department of Utility Services is requesting approval from the Board of County
<br /> Commissioners for Work Authorization Number 17 for engineering service , evaluation of bids .
<br /> construction services , and inspection services for the membrane and piping replacement project with
<br /> CDM , for a not to exceed amount of 531 .450 . 00 . Work Authorization No . 17 Ts attached to this Agenda .
