• • <br />WHEREAS, these Amateur Radio operators share their skills by teaching others <br />and demonstrating their unique communications skills to the public during Amateur <br />Week; and <br />WHEREAS members of the Vero Beach Amateur Radio Club will be participating <br />in the emergency preparedness exercise known as Field Day on June 22nd and 23rd. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that June 16 through 22, <br />2002, be designated as <br />AMATEUR RADIO WEEK <br />in Indian River County in recognition of the services provided by the Amateur Radio <br />operators, and the Board calls upon all citizens to pay appropriate tribute to the Amateur <br />Radio operators of our County. <br />Adopted this 18t" day of June 2002. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY; FLORIDA <br />)97 <br />Ruth M.
