STATE REVENUE SHARING APPLICATION FOR 200142 - SHERIFF - <br /> EMERGENCYSER VICESDEPARTMENT (FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF <br /> REVEN( E) <br /> The Board reviewed a Memorandum of May 17 , 2001 : <br /> TO : Board of County Commissioners <br /> DATE : May 17, 2001 <br /> SUBJECT : State Revenue Sharing Application <br /> FROM : Ed Fry, Finance Director <br /> Background Information <br /> Attached to this memorandum is the State Revenue Sharing application that must be filled in, signed, <br /> and returned to the State by June 30, 2001 . This application must be completed and filed on a timely <br /> basis in order for the County to receive State Revenue Sharing funds . For the 2000 fiscal year, the <br /> County received $2, 756,913 . 81 in State Revenue Sharing funds . As of May 17, 2001 , the County <br /> has received $ 1 ,314, 838 . 49. <br /> The Sheriff and the Director of the Department of Emergency Services have completed and signed <br /> the appropriate sections of the application. The County has complied with all of the requirements <br /> set forth in the application and has filed all reports that are required to be filed with the State . All <br /> sections of the application have been completed and the application has been signed by the Chief <br /> Fiscal Officer. <br /> Requested Action <br /> Request the Board of County Commissioners to authorize the Chairman of the Board to sign the <br /> State Revenue Sharing application. <br /> JUNE 59 2001 n 6 <br /> 9 <br /> - 26 - <br />
