Request for Final Plat Approval for The Preserve at <br /> Vero Beach (f/k/a Southlakes) Phase 1 <br /> It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of <br /> County Commissioners at its regular meeting of June 5 , 2001 . <br /> DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS : <br /> The Preserve at Vero Beach Phase I is a 62 lot single- family subdivision of a portion of a 56 . 02 <br /> acre parcel of land located on the north side of 5 ' Street S . W . and east of 27" Avenue . The <br /> property is zoned RS -6 (residential single- family, up to 6 unit/acre ) . The density of the <br /> subdivision is 2 . 59 units per acre . The subdivision will be built in two phases , with Phase 1 <br /> encompassed within this final plat. Phase 11 is to be built on the property directly to the east of <br /> Phasel and will be platted under a separate, ,future application . <br /> At its regular meeting of April 27 , 2000. the Planning and Zoning Commission granted <br /> preliminary plat approval for the overall subdivision ( Phase I and Phase 2 ) . The applicant is <br /> requesting final plat approval for Phase I and is bonding out some required improvements as part <br /> of the final plat approval process . The owner, GEN Development Inc . , through its agent <br /> Masteller.
