RAUTH <br />OPERATIONS MANAGER WATER/WASTEWATER CSA <br />DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY RFP #3060 - CONTINUING <br />CONSULTING SERVICES FOR WATER TREATMENT <br />FACILITIES <br />BACKGROUND <br />On May 14, 2001, the County received nine (9) responses to the above -referenced Request For <br />Proposals (RFP) On June 13, 2001, presentations were made to the staff selection committee. <br />The selection process was finalized and the department is now prepared to proceed with contract <br />negotiations. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The following three firsts were short-listed, interviewed. and ranked by the selection committee: <br />1. Camp, Dresser & McKee. Inc. <br />2. Kimley-Horm & Associates. Inc. <br />3. Metcalf8... Eddy, Inc. <br />The firms of Camp, Dresser, & McKee and Kimley-Hom & Associates, Inc. were selected by the <br />committee. Copies of the firm's proposals are on file in the Board of County Commissioners <br />office. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County <br />Commissioners authorize the staff to proceed with the negotiations for a contract for <br />continuing services for water treatment with the firms of Camp Dresser & McKee and Kimlev- <br />Horn & Associates, Inc. <br />July 10, 2001 <br />32 <br />BKI18PG833 <br />
