7.M. SR -60 ON-GOING REVIEW TASK FORCE - APPOINTMENT OF IRA MARKS <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of June 25, 2002: <br />To: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />Date: June 25, 2002 <br />Subject: APPOINTMENT TO THE S.R. 60 ON-GOING REVIEW TASK FORCE <br />From. Ruth M. Stanbridge <br />Chairman <br />Per County Ordinance 98-09, the Board of County Commissioners shall appoint a group of <br />Task Force members and design professionals (up to 4 persons known as the "S.R. 60 <br />On -Going Review Task Force"). This Task Force was established by the BCC at their <br />meeting of May 19, 1998 and has had only 3 member since its formation. The current <br />members are: Gene Waddell, Chairman, Peter Jones and Tom Foster. <br />I would like to recommend that the Board appoint Mr. Ira Marks to serve as the fourth <br />member to the S.R. 60 On -Going Review Task Force. Mr Marks has been a resident of <br />Indian River County for thirteen years, is a local realtor specializing in commercial real <br />estate and served on the S.R. 60 Corridor Committee. <br />JULY 2, 2002 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously appointed Ira Marks to serve as the <br />fourth member on the SR -60 On -Going Review <br />Task Force, as requested. <br />-32- <br />
