July 21, 2004 <br />SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT <br />The Board of Commissioners of the Solid Waste Disposal District met at the <br />County Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, July 21, <br />2004 for the purpose of adopting the Solid Waste Disposal District budget for FY 2004/05. <br />Present were Caroline Ginn, Chairman; Arthur R. Neuberger, Vice Chairman; and <br />Commissioners Fran B. Adams, Thomas S. Lowther and Kenneth R. Macht. Also present were <br />Joseph A. Baird, County Administrator; William G. Collins, II, County Attorney; Kimberly <br />Massung, Executive Aide to the Board; Jason Brown, Budget Manager; Erik Olson, Utility <br />Services Director; Polly Kratman, Solid Waste Disposal District Managing Director; and Patricia <br />Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT HEARING TO <br />ADOPT THE SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT BUDGET AND THE <br />SOLID WASTE CHARGE/ASSESSMENT (DISPOSAL CHARGE) <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. <br />It was announced that this was a public hearing concerning the proposed budget for the <br />Solid Waste Disposal District for FY 2004/05. <br />PROOF OF PUBLICATION IS ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />July 21, 2004 <br />S.W.D.D. <br />1 <br />
