The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in <br />this matter. <br />Bill Glynn, 1802 Barefoot Place, Vero Beach, advised he was speaking as the <br />president of North Beach Civic Association and they fully support this down -zoning and <br />have every confidence that Richard Graves' development will be done in good taste. <br />It was determined that no one else wished to be heard and the Chairman closed the <br />public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance No. 2002-024 amending the zoning ordinance and <br />the accompanying zoning map for 4.72 acres located at the <br />southwest corner of CR -510 and US -1 from OCR, Office <br />Commercial, Residential District, and CH, Heavy Commercial <br />District, to CG, General Commercial District; and providing <br />codification, severability, and effective date. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2002-024 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMEN -DING THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FOR 4.72 ACRES LOCATED AT <br />THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF CR -510 AND US -1 FROM OCR OFFICE COMMERCIAL, <br />RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT AND CH, HEAVY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, TO CG GENERAL <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recomrnendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />July 23, 2002 <br />42 <br />1 <br />
