INTRODUCTION OFAWARD WINNING STUDENTS INDEANNA SUTTON 'S <br /> ART PROGRAM THROUGH THE CULTURAL COUNCIL <br /> General Services Director Tom Frame introduced Deanna Sutton , the instructor in an <br /> art program sponsored through the Cultural Council . <br /> Instructor Deanna Sutton introduced some of her students whose art work was <br /> entered in a recent competition . The students ' works are hanging in the County <br /> Administration Building hallway, as well as in the Commission Chambers . She thanked the <br /> Cultural Council for presenting this wonderful program which introduces the students to the <br /> beauty of the world around them . She emphasized that all of the work represented was done <br /> in water colors which are very difficult to work with . There are also a few drawings . A <br /> book is being printed internationally which will contain the works of all finalists in the <br /> competition . Also , each school represented will receive a $ 1 , 000 award . She then <br /> introduced 3 students : Michelle Lemons , Austin Emard and Letevia Flowers . She hoped the <br /> Board would continue to fund the Cultural Council and thanked the Board for recognizing <br /> these young artists . <br /> Michelle Lemons , Glendale Elementary School , pointed out her art work for the <br /> audience and expressed her love of art . <br /> Letevia Flowers , Sebastian Middle School , stated how much she enjoys painting and <br /> pointed out 3 of her paintings hanging in the Chambers . <br /> JULY 39 2001 <br /> N02 <br /> - 3 - <br />
