Collins II — Deputy County Attorney <br /> DATE : June 21 , 2001 <br /> SUBJECT: Ordinance Extending for Six Months the Moratorium on the Acceptance of <br /> Applications and the Issuance of Permits for the Construction of Wireless <br /> Telecommunications Towers <br /> The Board of County Commissioners , at its June 19 , 2001 meeting , authorized staff to <br /> prepare an ordinance extending the moratorium imposed by Ordinance 2001 -01 for an <br /> additional six months in order to allow the consultant contracted with at that same meeting <br /> time to prepare a new wireless master plan and accompanying land development <br /> regulations . <br /> Attached is an ordinance to effectuate that Board directive . <br /> RECOMMENDATION : <br /> After input from a public hearing , adopt the attached Ordinance extending the moratorium <br /> for an additional six months with any necessary modifications as the Board may see fit . <br /> JULY 39 2001 2 <br /> -43 - <br />
