In the attached letter from the applicant's engineer dated June 25, 2002, a wailer of the <br />cut and fill requirements is requested The lot area is 1.06 acres The volume of the 100 -year <br />floodplain displaced by the proposed grading plan is estimated to be 546 cubic yards. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The waiver request has been reviewed by staff and appears to meet the criteria of Section <br />930.07(2)(d)4. of the StolLlwater Management and Flood Protection Ordinance for lots located in the <br />Vero Lake Estates Municipal Services Taxing Unit. <br />Alternative No. 1 <br />Grant the cut and fill balance waiver based on the criteria of Section 930.07(2)(d)4. <br />Alternative No. 2 <br />Deny the cut and fill waiver. Require an on site retention area be provided to compensate for the <br />proposed floodplain displacement. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends approval of Altemative No. 1. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
