• • <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in <br />this matter. <br />Bill Glynn, 1802 Barefoot Place, as President of the North Beach Civic Association <br />and Summerplace Improvement Association, believed this change to be a defining moment <br />in the Board's tenure. He thanked and congratulated them for their leadership and <br />demonstration of opposition to density and height and for supporting what the people want. <br />He thanked staff and Long Range/Economic Development Planner Randy Deshazo for the <br />great job in putting this together. <br />Brian Heady, Vero Beach, spoke in opposition to the rezoning because the property <br />is worth more zoned for multi -family. He believed the property owners will sue the county <br />which will raise taxes.
