Bangel, County Attorney CKs G ��1 <br />Public Notice; Proposed Ordinance Implementing the Dori Slosberg Driver <br />Education Safety Act <br />A public hearing is scheduled for August 20, 2002, at 9:00 a.m. or as soon <br />thereafter as the matter may be heard, regarding the following proposed ordinance: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, IMPLEMENTING <br />THE DORI SLOSBERG DRIVER EDUCATION SAFETY ACT, PROVIDING <br />FOR DEFINITIONS, PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION AND <br />ADMINISTRATION OF THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY TRAFFIC <br />EDUCATION PROGRAM TRUST FUND, PROVIDING FOR THE CLERK OF <br />THE CIRCUIT AND COUNTY COURT TO COLLECT AN ADDITIONAL <br />$3 00 WITH EACH CIVIL TRAFFIC PENALTY ASSESSED IN THE <br />INCORPORATED AND UNINCORPORATED AREA OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY TO BE DEPOSITED INTO THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />TRAFFIC EDUCATION PROGRAM TRUST FUND TO FUND TRAFFIC <br />EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN PUBLIC AND NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS, <br />PROVIDING FOR A QUARTERLY REPORT, PROVIDING FOR GRANTS <br />FROM THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY TRAFFIC EDUCATION PROGRAM <br />TRUST FUND, AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION <br />AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br />A draft of the proposed ordinance is attached. <br />The Chairman announced the above into the record. <br />9.C.2. & 3.
