Collins II - Deputy County Attorney <br /> DATE : August 1 , 2001 <br /> SUBJECT: Resolution Accepting Right-Of-Way Dedication , and Canceling <br /> Taxes on Dedicated Property <br /> A Resolution has been prepared for the purpose of accepting a right-of-way <br /> dedication and cancelling any delinquent or current taxes which may exist on the <br /> property dedicated by Carl A . Fischer for right-of-way along Powerline Road <br /> (70th Avenue ) . <br /> Right-of-way dedicated by Carl A . Fischer, which property is fully <br /> described in that Quit-Claim Deed recorded in Official Record Book 1416 , <br /> Pages 1481 - 1482 , Public Records of Indian River County, Florida . <br /> RECOMMENDATION : <br /> Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the <br /> Resolution accepting the right-of-way dedication and cancelling certain taxes <br /> upon publicly owned lands , and the Clerk to send a certified copy of same to the <br /> Tax Collector so that any delinquent or current taxes can be cancelled . <br /> /nhm <br /> Attachment: 1 Resolution <br /> ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Stanbridge, SECONDED BY <br /> Commissioner Adams , the Board unanimously adopted <br /> Resolution No . 2001 - 074 accepting a right- of--way dedication <br /> and cancelling certain taxes upon publicly owned lands pursuant <br /> to Section 196 . 28 , Florida, Statutes .
