Chandler <br /> County Administrator <br /> 2er-t <br /> MENT HEAD CONCURRENCE : <br /> Keating, <br /> Community Development D rector / <br /> FROM : Stan Bolin CP <br /> Planning Director <br /> DATE : September 4, 2001 <br /> SUBJECT : Proposed Change to the Grand Harbor DRI Development Order <br /> It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of County <br /> Commissioners at its regular meeting of September 11 , 2001 . <br /> BACKGROUND : <br /> This item was advertized as a public hearing and was originally scheduled for consideration before <br /> the Board of County Commissioners at its August 14, 2001 meeting. At that meeting the Board, <br /> based upon a recommendation from staff and a request from the applicant, opened the public hearing <br /> and immediately continued it to 9 : 00 a. m . at the September ll , 2001 Board of County <br /> Commissioners meeting. The Board is now to hold the public hearing and act on the requested <br /> change to the Grand Harbor development order. <br /> DESCRIPTION & CONDITIONS : <br /> On October 23 , 1985 , the Board of County Commissioners adopted a development order (D . O . ) <br /> approving the development of regional impact (DRI ) known as Grand Harbor. Over the last 16 <br /> years, eleven amendments that modified the original D . O. have been approved. The amended D . O . <br /> remains in effect and governs the general development of the entire project via specific D . O . <br /> conditions and approved application materials that include a project master plan ( land use) map (see <br /> September 11 , 2001 <br />
