Grant (Multi -Ag ncy Criminal Enforcement Unit) <br />Project Generated Incopie <br />B udget Amendment 021 <br />Background and Analysis <br />The M.A.C.E. Unit is requesting authorization to utilize Project Generated Income (PGI) in the <br />amount of $4,191.87. This M.A.C.E. Unit Income was generated from confiscated property in <br />drug related activities. Funds will be distributed to the Indian River County Shenff's Office <br />M.A.C.E. Unit for operating expense increase, due to some major investigations earlier in the <br />year. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the utilization of Project <br />Generated Income totaling $4,191.87 and authorize the attached Budget Amendment <br />necessary to release the funds. <br />Attachments <br />Budget Amendment 021 <br />Letter from Sheriff's Office <br />P rojected Generated Income Report <br />P roject Generated Income Agreement <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously approved the <br />utilization of Project Generated Income totaling $4,191.87 and <br />authorized the attached Budget Amendment 021 necessary to <br />release the funds. <br />September 17, 2002 <br />23 <br />y <br />
