EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT (ESD) <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in this <br />matter. There being none, she closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board, by a 4-0 vote (Commissioner <br />Adams absent) unanimously adopted Resolution 2002-077 <br />establishing the tax millage rate (2.2750) to be levied upon all real <br />and personal taxable property in Indian River County for FY 2002- <br />2003 for the Emergency Services District. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-077 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING <br />THE TAX MILLAGE RATE TO BE LEVIED UPON ALL REAL AND <br />PERSONAL TAXABLE PROPERTY IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002-2003 FOR THE INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget Officer of Indian River County prepared and presented to the <br />County Commission a tentative budget for the Emergency Services District of Indian River County, <br />Florida, for the fiscal year commencing on the first day of October, 2002, and ending on the 30th <br />day of September, 2003, addressing each of the funds therein as provided by law, including all <br />estimated receipts, taxes to be levied, and balances expected to be brought forward, and all <br />estimated expenditures, reserves, and balances to be carried over at the end of the year; and <br />SEPTEMBER 18, 2002 12 <br />
