SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT BUDGET (NON -AD <br />VALOREM SPECIAL DISTRICT) <br />Administrator chandler announced that the proposed 2002-03 charges for the Solid Waste <br />Disposal District are $47.56 per Residential Waste Generation Unit (RGU) ($76.10 House) and <br />$32.58 per Commercial Waste Generation Unit (CGU). <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in this <br />matter. There being none, she closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board, by a 4-0 vote (Commissioner <br />Adams absent) unanimously adopted Resolution 2002-081 <br />establishing the assessment rate to be levied upon all real and <br />personal taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, for FY <br />2002-03 for the Solid Waste Disposal District ($47.56 per <br />Residential Waste Generation Unit; $32.58 per Commercial Waste <br />Generation Unit; and $20.68 readiness -to -use fee). <br />SEPTEMBER 18, 2002 19 <br />
