Invitation to Bid; awarded Item #5 to multiple vendors: <br />Dickerson Florida, Inc. and Blackhawk Quarry Company of <br />Florida, Inc. as the bidders meeting the specifications as set out <br />in the Invitation to Bid; authorized establishment of an open- <br />end contract for the period of October 1, 2003 through <br />September 30, 2004 with the same vendors; and authorized the <br />Purchasing Manager to renew these contracts for two (2) <br />additional one (1) year periods subject to satisfactory <br />performance, zero cost increase, vendor acceptance and the <br />determination that renewal of these annual contracts are in the <br />best interest of the County, as recommended in the <br />memorandum. (NOTE• Last year's expenditures totaled <br />$95,000.00 for Zones A,B,C, and County pick-up, Zone D was <br />added to this year's bid. The projected expenditures for 2004 <br />are $95,000.00.
