He requested the addition of Item 13.A. to comment on an <br />article in the Press Journal concerning development outside the urban service area. <br />Vice Chairman Ginn asked that 13.B. be added so she could comment on a <br />presentation by Coastal Resource Manager Jonathan C. Gorham, PhD at the recent Beaches <br />and Shores Advisory Committee meeting. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY Vice <br />Chairman Ginn, the Board unanimously made the above <br />changes to the agenda. <br />5. PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS <br />A. Proclamation Designating the Month of September 2003 as <br />Leukemia & Lymphoma Awareness Month and Invitation to Light the <br />Night u Walk <br />(CLERK'S NOTE• This item was postponed pending the <br />arrival of the recipient who arrived after Item 9 B 1 ) <br />The proclamation was read by Commissioner Neuberger and presented to Betsy <br />Keteltas. <br />Betsy Keteltas expressed thanks on behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society <br />as well as cancer survivors and families of cancer victims.
