f , <br />Pursuant to Notice Requesting Bids on Road and Bridge equipment and supplies, i! <br />the following bids were received: <br />ITEM #1. <br />124 Tons of No. 9 Concrete Rock. <br />Bid was received from Crosby Builders Supply Company quoting a price of <br />'$14.65, per ton f.o.b. railway cars Naran ja, Florida. <br />Upon Motion of Commissioner -Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Warren and <br />i <br />curried, this bid was accepted. <br />ITEM #2. <br />210 Barrels of High Early Portland Cement (Encore or equal.) <br />Bid was received from CrosbyBuildersSupply Company quoting a price of $5.53 <br />per barrell f.o.b. cars on 210 barrels of "Incor" delivered Gifford, Florida. <br />Upon Motion of Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Watts and <br />Carried, this bid was accepted. <br />ITEM #3. <br />262000 pounds of preformed concrete steel. <br />A bid was received from Crosby Builders Supply Company quoting a price of <br />$2,456.20 net, delivered to County Barn, Gifford, Fla. via truck. <br />Bid was received from Cosco Products Company quoting a price of $2,263.00, <br />f.o.b, trucks, job site. <br />Bid from Rinker Vero Corporation quoting a price of $2,501.78. <br />Bid from Florida Steel Products, Inc., quoting a price of $6.97 per hundred <br />pounds, average- f.o.b. their trucks at County Barn, Gifford, Florida. <br />After consideration in the matter it was determined that the best low bid <br />was that of the Florida Steel Products, Inc., and same was accepted upon Motion of Comm- <br />issioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Warren, and carried. <br />ITEM #4• <br />One gasoline powered one bag concrete mixer with batch <br />loading hopper on trailer equipped with pneumatic tires. <br />Bid was received from Crosby Builders Supply Company, quoting a price of <br />$1,766.00 f.o.b. Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with an estimate freight of 0175.00 to deliver f.o.b. <br />Vero Beach. <br />Bid received from Square Deal Machinery & Supply Company quoting a price of <br />.. ii <br />$1,416.50 net. <br />Bid received from C. Reed Knight on a used Cement Mixer, quoting a price of <br />$500.00. <br />Bid received from Florida -Georgia Tractor Company, quoting a price of 01,592.391! <br />f.o.b. Fort Pierce, Florida. <br />After considering the foregoing bids and on Motion of Commissioner Watts, <br />seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried, three County Commissioners together with E. E.
