UpanMotion of Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Waddell, and <br />unainimously carried, the following several bills are to be introduced in the Legislature: <br />"A bill to be entitled An Ac•t TO MAKE IT UNLAWFUL <br />FOR LIVESTOCK TO RUN OR ROADS AT LARGE IN INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA: TO PROVIDE FOR THE IMPOUNDING AND <br />SALE OF ANY LIVESTOCK RUNNING AT LARGE: TO PROVIDE <br />THAT PERSONS DAMAGED BY SUCH LIVESTOCK RUNNING AT <br />LARGE MAY RECOVER DAMAGES THEREFOR FROM THE OWNER OF <br />SUCH LIVESTOCK AND TO PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR THE VIDLATION <br />OF THIS ACT." <br />"A bill to be entitled An Act AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDJA N RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />TO INDEPENDENTLY REGULATE BY RESOLUTION THE HOURS OF <br />SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WITHIN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, INCLUDING ALL MUNICIPALITIES AND TO PROVIDE <br />PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF." <br />"A bill to be entitled An Act FIXING THE LAST DAY ON WHICH <br />CANDIDATES FOR NOMINA71ON FOR COUNTY OFFICES IN INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SHALL QUALIFY FOR POLITICAL PARTY <br />NOMINATION IN THE PRIMARIES," <br />"A bill to be entitled An ,Act FIXING THE COMPENSATION TO <br />BE PAID TO AND RECEIVED BY MEMBERS OF BOARDS OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS IN AND FOR EACH COUNTY HAVING A POPULATION <br />OF MORE THAN ELEVEN THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY (11,460) <br />AND NOT MORE THAN ELEVEN THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY <br />(11,880) ACCORDING TO THE LAST FEDERAL CENSUS AND PRO- <br />VIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF EXPENSES OF SUCH BOARD MEMBERS. <br />"A bill to be entitled An Act PRESCRIBING THE AMOUNT AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO AND RECEIVED <br />BY EACH MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAY- <br />MENT OF EXPENSES OF SUCH BOARD MEMBERS. <br />After considerable discussion, upon Motion of Commissioner Waddell, seconded <br />by Commissioner Hamilton and unanimously carried, Sherman N. Smith, Jr. was authorized to <br />present Motions to Repeal the following laws: <br />Act 922114, Laws of Florida, 1943. <br />Outstanding State held Tax Certificate Law. <br />Law establishing delinquent bond, 1935. <br />Law fixing Tax Assessors Fees passed in 1935. <br />Law of 1927 authorizing County Commissioners to employ traffic officers. <br />Law establishing the Vero Beach Inlet District. <br />Act of 1935 with respect to distribution of gasoline taxes. <br />Law relating to the distribution of race track funds. <br />Sherman N.
