8. C. BLANKET AUTHORIZATION FOR COMMISSIONERS TO TRAVEL OUT OF <br />COUNTY <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Flescher, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Davis, the Board unanimously granted <br />approval for Board members to travel out -of -County for <br />all current and any future assigned committee meetings, <br />including travel to Tallahassee, Florida, as requested in the <br />memorandum of December 30, 2011. <br />8.D. APPLICATIONS FOR BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONER APPOINTEE TO <br />THE BEACH AND SHORE PRESERVATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />Vice Chairman O'Bryan noted that there were two applicants (Christian Hendricks and <br />David Washington) for the vacant position on the Beach and Shores Preservation Advisory <br />Committee. He nominated Christian Hendricks for the position due to his familiarity and <br />experience with the applicant. <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman O'Bryan, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Solari, the Board unanimously <br />appointed Christian Hendricks to the Beach and Shore <br />Preservation Advisory Committee, as recommended in the <br />memorandum of January 3, 2012. <br />January 10, 2012 6 <br />BK 141 PG 853 <br />
