EXHIBIT 1 <br />AMENDMENT NO. 1 to WORK ORDER NO. GKE-2 <br />SCRUB JAY FRIENDLY LANDSCAPING AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES <br />FOR OSPREY MARSH ALGAL NUTRIENT REMOVAL FACILITY <br />LANDSCAPING AND WETLAND PLANTING, MAINTENANCE, AND EXOTIC <br />CONTROL <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 SCOPE <br />A. This Work consists of furnishing all labor, supervision, material, equipment, <br />transportation, etc., to complete all landscaping work and wetland planting work for <br />the areas shown on the Drawings, and as herein specified. Work shall also involve <br />the removal of all invasive, exotic species on the site at the start of the landscaping <br />contract, and continual maintenance and removal of exotics from the entire site for <br />the times specified herein. <br />B. No planting shall occur until an approved temporary irrigation system is installed by <br />the Landscaper (or other watering system is provided by the Landscaper) and is <br />available for irrigation service. <br />C. This stormwater park landscaping is designed to attract wildlife, especially the <br />Florida scrub jay. <br />1.2 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Before planting, submit one sample of each specified plant to the OWNER for <br />approval and identify the name, address, and telephone number of the nursery <br />supplier. <br />PART 2 — PRODUCTS <br />21 FERTILIZER <br />A. Provide a complete analysis slow-release fertilizer that is uniform in composition, <br />dry, and free flowing. Deliver to the site in the original unopened containers, <br />each beanng the manufacturer's statement of analysis. Fertilizer shall meet the <br />following requirements: <br />1. 12 percent Nitrogen (Minimum 70% Slow Release N Source) <br />2. 0 percent Phosphorus.
