Safety Systems Master Purchase and License Agreement <br /> for tag-on purchases related to the E911 Call-Taking <br /> equipment needed for the Vero Beach Police Department, <br /> Sebastian Police Department, and Indian River County <br /> Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Public Safety <br /> Answering Points (PSAP) , as recommended in the <br /> memorandum of December 7 , 2011 . <br /> 12, C GENERAL SERVICES <br /> 12 C. 1* REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO ISSUE AN INVITATION TO BID THE INDIAN RIVER <br /> CouNTYPUBLIC SHOOTING RANGE EXPANSION PROJECT <br /> MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Flescher, <br /> SECONDED by Commissioner Davis, to approve staff s <br /> recommendation. <br /> A brief discussion followed, during which several Commissioners expressed support for <br /> financing the Shooting Range as an Enterprise Fund, as it formerly was . <br /> County Administrator Michael Zito relayed that the Florida Wildlife Conservation <br /> Commission supports the project, and has advised that they will construct a hunter' s education <br /> facility onsite at the Wildlife Commission' s cost. <br /> Holden Kriss , Range Manager, confirmed that the hunter safety program at the Shooting <br /> Range is well attended. <br /> The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and the <br /> Motion carried unanimously.
