Indian River <br />County and St. Johns River Water Management District, pending <br />with the State of Florida Division of Administrative Hearings, DOAH <br />Case No. 13-3601 <br />I request advice from the County Commission regarding settlement negotiations <br />and strategy relating to litigation expenditures with regard to the cases styled <br />Pelican Island Audubon Society, Dr. Richard Baker, and Dr David Cox v. Indian <br />River County and St. Johns River Water Management District, pending with the <br />State of Florida Division of Administrative Hearings, DOAH Case No. 13-3601. <br />Prior to going into private session, Florida Statute 286.011(8) requires the <br />Chairman to read the following statement: <br />"This is the commencement of the attorney-client session. The <br />estimated time of the closed attorney-client session is 30 <br />minutes. Present at the meeting will be Commissioners <br />Wesley S. Davis, Joseph E. Flescher, Tim Zorc, Bob Solari <br />and me, Peter D O'Bryan Also present will be Deputy County <br />Attorney William K DeBraal, County Administrator Joseph <br />Baird, and a certified court reporter.
